Air Jordan 1 High OG First in Flight high-top basketball shoes FD2596-400. The shoe is decorated with UNC blue and eye-catching yellow elements. The all-over insole pattern echoes this design, and with the addition of navy blue, AJ1 2.0 is presented with a tribute theme. North Carolina blue, obsidian and off-white are used to match, and the overall look is more coordinated. In addition to paying homage to Jordan’s alma mater, another theme of the shoe is a nod to the Wright Brothers’ first flight in 1903. The obsidian parts of the heel and upper are embellished with yellow flying wings logo to enhance the overall recognition. It is worth mentioning that in order to echo the theme of the shoe, the insole is fully printed with the words “AJ, 23”, and the diamond shape integrated into it is the classic pattern of the North Carolina school team jersey.
